The Construction Brothers are a talented production and writing team that have now decided to release their music after years of successfully working on writing and producing for other artists. The Construction Brothers have finally decided to do their our own thing… The Construction Brothers have been described as a cross between The Allman Brothers and Stevie Wonder. The music genre is best described as R&B soul with a country twang.

The Construction Brothers are comprised of Ira Schickman (a veteran songwriter, musician and producer), and Dinky Bingham (another veteran singer, songwriter, musician and producer). Dinky, the former lead singer for the Jamaica Boys - who featured Lenny White, Marcus Miller and Bernard Wright has finally returned to singing after an extended sabbatical.

After receiving a incredible response from fans about the song "They Dont Know”, the title track on the STARZ! and BET Movies' Loving Jezebel (released by Universal), The Construction Brothers finally decided to release the previously unreleased tracks to the public.

Individually, both Ira Schickman and Dinky Bingham have been busy working on writing and producing projects for various artists. Ira just finished working on the Grammy award winning “Best R&B Album” of 2007 “Funk This” by Chaka Khan. Dinky has been busy working on production projects for various artists.

The live band is sounding great! Our band members include:
-Nikki Glaspie, a brilliant young drummer (currently touring with Beyonce)
-New York bass legend, Ron Long
-Ira Schickman, on guitar, vocals, keyboards
-Dinky Bingham, on keyboards and vocals.

On the recordings, all instruments are played by Ira Schickman and Dinky Bingham. Ira plays bass, keyboards, guitar, and drums. Dinky is singing and playing keyboards. All tracks are written and produced by Ira Schickman and Dinky Bingham. Grammy-nominated songwriter and American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi also collaborated as a writer on some of the songs.
